Graham Gets Off To A Good Start In The Championship

The rally started off good for Graham and Donacha with an 11th quickest time overall. That time was good enough to place them 4th in Group N on the opening stage. On SS2 they were 5th fastest in Group N and it was enough to move them up to 10th overall on the leaderboard. By stage 3 the crew were getting quicker and set third quickest time in Group N which moved them up to 3rd in Group N and 8th overall.

Through SS4 and SS5 the AS Ballantine Ltd backed Evo 9 set two more 3rd fastest times in Group N which moved them from 8th overall to 7th overall and sitting in 3rd place in Group N. Going into the final stage the Evo 9 crew were 3rd in Group N and 7th overall but unfortunately on SS6 Raymond Johnston and Fabian McAleer were quicker so Graham and Donacha had to settle for 8th overall and 4th in Group N only 1.8 seconds off Johnston and McAleer.

In only his second rally Graham has shown that he is able to set good times and challenge for a Group N podium place.
