Good Start To The Season For The Bustard Brothers

Trevor and Kenny Bustard finished an excellent 11th overall and 3rd in Group N at the 2010 McWilliam Park Hotel Mayo Stages Rally on Sunday 14th March.

The Bustard brothers started off the rally steady and were laying 15th overall and 3rd in Group N after the first loop of stages.

For the second loop of three stages the Donegal crew decided to put some small cuts in the tyres to help get some heat into them. This paid off as their pace improved and the StockHouse Evo 9 moved up to 11th overall.

On the final loop of stages the crew were in 10th overall until a late charge from Eugene Ferry and Derek Heena ended Trevor and Kenny’s hopes of a top 10 finish on their first rally of the year.
