Dundalk Awaits Donagh and Kevin

This weekend is round 3 of the 2010 Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Rally Championship, the UTV Drive Circuit of Ireland National Rally and beginning their championship campaign will be Donagh Kelly and Kevin Flanagan in the AirTricity sponsored Ford Focus WRC.

This will be Donagh and Kevin’s first round of the championship after missing the first two rounds and they will be looking for a good points finish on the demanding Circuit of Ireland stages.

As a shakedown for the Circuit of Ireland the Donegal crew recently competed on the Shannon Key West Hotel, Rooskey Stages Rally last weekend to get some miles in the car before the tough Easter event but unfortunately the Donegal crew retired on SS2, so preparation for the Circuit has been hampered.

The Circuit kicks off in Dundalk on Saturday 3rd April at 12.30pm and finishes on Sunday 4 April at 5.15pm. The Donegal crew will tackle 147 stage miles across counties Armagh, Monaghan, Louth and Down before crossing the finish ramp in Newry on Sunday afternoon.
