Disaster For Donagh In Roscommon

The Donegal crew started the Shannon Key West Hotel, Rooskey Stages Rally off really well in the AirTricity backed Ford Focus WRC with fastest time on SS1. They finished the 13Km opening test 4 seconds ahead of Declan and Brian Boyle with 2009 winner Maurice Moffett a further 7 seconds behind them.

Then on SS2 the crew suffered some bad luck when they retired with engine problems. Having this retirement has set Donagh and Kevin back in their preparations to get miles in the car before the Circuit of Ireland this weekend.

With the UTV Drive Circuit of Ireland National Rally next on the agenda for the Donegal crew VSM have only five days to diagnose the engine problems and get the car ready for the Circuit this Saturday.
