Another Group N Podium For The Bustards

After claiming a Group N podium at round two of the Dunlop National Rally championship in Mayo, the bustard brothers were hoping for another good result in Monaghan.

Trevor and Kenny started off the rally badly as they spun on SS1 and arrived into service after the first loop in 22nd overall and struggling to get confidence. On the second loop the Donegal crew were improving their pace but suffered a set back when they dropped over a minute with a puncture on SS6 which moved them down to 25th overall and 3rd in Group N.

On the final three stages the crew managed a trouble free run and moved up the leaderboard to 19th overall and claimed 3rd in Group N. Trevor and Kenny managed to set fastest time in Group N on the final stage which was was good end to the rally.
